1. I believe that loss of hope and motivation is a fatal disease.
2. I believe that gender stereotypes are wrong.
3. I believe that every child deserves the right to a substantial education.
4. I believe that child abuse is wrong.
5. I believe that the pollution of our world is a terrible thing that should come to an end.
1. When an individual loses hope and motivation, he or she goes into a downward spiral towards depression and an overall lack of livelihood. The idea of someone completely giving up on life because of some certain negative circumstances frustrates me, because I believe that there will always be a way to turn a bad situation around. There are many people in this world who refuse to turn their lives around and complain about how everything is so horrible around them; but even in the worst of situations, anyone can muster up the strength to change their life and create a better existence for themselves. It's not that the world is being unfair to some; it's just that those people refuse to even give life another fighting chance. The idea of "thoughts turn into things" is true, because the outlook you have on life usually decides whether or not you will have a positive one or a negative one. If people began to constantly see the glass as half full rather than half empty, I believe that everyone can mold their lives from a blob of clay into a beautiful masterpiece. People just have to decide whether or not they will commit themselves to turning their lives around and making a change.
